Betty Jean "BJ" Williams

Williams, Betty Jean "BJ" 88, of Winchester, Virginia died, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in her residence. She was born February 10, 1926 in Windsor, IL the daughter of Claud and Doris Moss Comstock. Ms. Williams was a member of the Braddock Street United Methodist Church. Professionally, she sold life insurance for Franklin National Insurance and worked as a teller for the Bank of Indiana. Surviving are her children, Scott Williams and his wife, Viki, of Portage, IN, Keith Williams and his wife, Brenda, of Rio, WV, Shelley Snider of Winchester, and Lori Williams of Valparaiso, IN; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers, Bill and Kenny Comstock are deceased. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Braddock Street United Methodist Church, 115 Wolfe Street, Winchester, Virginia with Reverends Kirk Nave, Adam Sowder, and Steve Melester officiating. Friends will be received after the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
