MISHAWAKA - Beulah "Bea" Marcotte, 79, of Harvester Road, Maumee, Ohio, formerly of Mishawaka before moving to Maumee, Ohio, to be with her daughter, Karen, passed away in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. She was born February 14, 1929, in Winooski, Vermont, to Clarence and Lavina (McDonald) Rushlow, who both preceded her in death. On April 14, 1951, she married Normand "Chief" Marcotte, who died July 24, 2004. She is survived by five children, Ronald (Sylvia) Marcotte, Rita (Raul) Carrasco, Wayne (Cathie) Marcotte, Karen (Bruce) Rohen and Susan (Lance) Oakley. She had 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Jacqueline Fielder and Barbara Peli, and a brother, Donald Rushlow. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Irene Packevicz and Robert Rushlow. Mrs. Marcotte worked at the Empire Box Company for several years before working at the University of Notre Dame before her retirement. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Parish, VFW Post #9820 and Bowlers Country Club. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel where friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.

Karen, I am so glad that you stopped in to let us know about the death of your mom. Boo actually asked about her before I could tell her. Bea had a great sense of humor and shared some wonderful stories with us. Our prayers go out to you and you whole family.
