Beverley Anderton

Came to Royal Mail leyland as a new manager and I found Beverley (woods ) as I knew her then ,to be the most helpful post lady I have ever come across she was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed by all who knew her

i was one of cyclists who used to visit the barn very regularly - but moved away from the area in 2019

Beverley was always so kind to me especially - she always made time to say hello

Condolences to Niel and family

I have only just found out today that Beverley has passed away. I remember very fondly, as a patient at the royal Lancaster hospital. She was so friendly on her visits. When I went to the barn at scorton, she made me so welcome and always sent me home with scones or cakes. She was a lovely inspirational lady and will be sadly missed, by all who crossed paths with her. I asked for her today at the barn to be told this devastating news. My heart goes out to Neil and their lovely family.

CTC Lancaster and South Lakes visited The Barn from it's very beginnings and always felt welcomed by Neil and Beverley. Nothing was too much trouble. We particularly remember one Christmas lunch when the electricity had been cut off for quite a long time. Despite all this our meal arrived on time and Neil was ever cheerful, although he did admit he might have a tipple when we had all left! Sending condolences to all, and especially the girls.

We just wnat to say how sorry we are for Bevelys passing. Her spirt will always be present with you. LOVE never dies just trasformed. Thank you Bevely for your life on this earth.

Neil. We were very saddened to hear of Beverley's illness and untimely passing. Our cycling group will miss her on our future visits; she was always such a busy and cheery host. Thinking of you and your family at this very sad time.
