Portrait artist, embroiderer and stained-glass designer. Died peacefully aged 95 at Waikanae on Tuesday, 3rd September 2024. Formerly of Karori. Much loved wife of the late Peter, mother and mother-in-law of Diana (dec) and Michael Newbery, Sylvia and Bob Cavanagh and Prue and Simon Cooke-Willis. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Arna, Mark, Louise and Andrew, Julia and Matt, Martin and Marion, and Fran. A proud great-grandmother of Millie, Emma and Grace. Prue and Sylvia thank the doctor and staff at Charles Fleming Hospital who cared for Beverley with great love and respect. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Beverley can be made to the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research https://donate.malaghan.org.nz/ A service to celebrate Beverley's life will be held at St Luke's Anglican Church, Elizabeth Street, Waikanae on Monday, 9th September, at 2:00pm.
