Beverly Duncan was a key figure in the disability community in Saskatchewan and played a vital role in the early years of the disability movement both in Saskatchewan and across Canada. Her years of dedicated service with Sask Voice and her unwavering commitment to advocacy for people with disabilities will always be remembered. Bev was instrumental in developing and implementing the Saskatchewan Assured Income for People with Disabilities (SAID) program and was a long-standing member of the Disability Income Support Coalition, among many other important advocacy committees. She tirelessly championed the rights of persons with disabilities, advocating for adequate housing and living income and made a lasting impact on disability legislation at both the federal and provincial levels.
Her contributions leave a legacy with SVOPD and the countless people she served. Bev´s lifelong work will continue to inspire change. We honour her memory as a person of compassion, deep respect, and integrity. To all who knew Bev, her family, and friends, we extend our deepest condolences.

Sending my condolence in memory of Bev. I remember all the trouble her and I used to get into on the farm, I know she has taken her place in a better place and I will miss her dearly, now I can say it was all Bev's ideas that got us into so much mischief in our earlier years on the farm may you read this wherever you are and get a chuckle. Rest in peace Bev.
