Beverly R. (Rector) Bohner

Beverly entered into eternal rest on early Monday morning September 22, 2025 while under the care of Saint Lukes Brian D. Perin Hospice House. She was born in Northampton on March 10, 1940, and was the wife of Thomas A. Bohner Jr., with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. She was a daughter of the late David Rector, Dorothy (Possinger) Rector and Miriam (McCloskey) Rector.

Bev graduated from Northampton High School class of 1958. She worked for Western Electric and returned to School in 1970 to pursue an education in Computer Science and Mathematics. She obtained her Associates degree from LCCC, her Bachelor of Science from Moravian University, and her Master's Degree from Lehigh University. She retired from Western Electric and then became a Professor of Computer Science at Reading Area Community College retiring in 2007 with the title Professor Emerita.

Bev enjoyed traveling with her family and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and prosper. She was predeceased by her parents, step mother, brother Rick Miller, and sister Sandra Miller of California. Bev is survived by her son Thomas A. Bohner III with Andrea; grandsons David Bohner with Tara and Michael Bohner with Katherine; great grandchildren Aria, Chelsea, David and Aidan; along with her brother Donald Chemello of California.

Visitation with her family will be on Friday October 3, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am in the Gilbert Funeral Home 444 Pershing Boulevard Whitehall, Pennsylvania 18052, where Prayers will be offered at 11:00 am to conclude her Visitation.

Her interment will be private.
