Beverly Brickman

Beverly Rae Brickman, formerly of New Orleans, died in Abbeville, Georgia, at age 90, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She attended Isadore Newman School and eventually earned a degree in psychology from the St. Mary's Dominican College. Following Hurricane Katrina, she relocated to Dothan, Alabama. In 2021, Beverly moved to a nursing home in Georgia, where she remained until her death.

Beverly is survived by her three children: daughter, Deborah Rodriguez; daughter, Pamela Lightfoot and her husband, Kenneth, and their children and spouses, Colin and Maria, and Samuel and Andrew; and her son, Reuban Rodriguez, his wife, Suzanne, and their son, Aaron. In addition, she is survived by the children of her late brother, Dr. Isadore David Brickman, including Brian, Philip, and Robert Brickman, and their mother, Jean.

In addition to her brother, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Isadore Brickman and Mrs. Fannie W. Brickman, and her aunt, Sophie Weinstein.
