I loved your mother. She was always so sweet and loving to me. She holds a special place in my heart.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

As a newbie at The Shreveport Times in 1978 it was wonderful to be welcomed by the warm, gracious Bev King. She was always such a delight, and set a fine example for all.

My sympathies for your family on the loss of your mother and grandmother. She has left a beautiful legacy of love to be carried forward by her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mrs. Hand was a very special and precious lady. I'm going to miss my friend.

I have such fond memories of my visits with Ms. Hand and my mother in law, Mary Delle. She was a gracious and kind lady. I know she and Mary Delle are sharing old stories and laughing about all the fun times they had together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you mourn the lost of such a Great Lady.

I remember Beverly from St. Vincent's. I was a Freshman when she was a Senior in1947. She was always sweet and cheerful.
