Beverly Marsette

Beverly Jean Marsette (Marston), 81, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Newport, Tennessee.

Born on October 8, 1943, in Derby, Connecticut, Beverly was the daughter of a proud New England family and grew up in Seymour. She graduated from Seymour High School and remained closely connected to her hometown throughout much of her life.

Beverly began her professional journey at American Brass in Ansonia, Connecticut, where she contributed her talents and dedication. Later in life, she joined Stop and Shop in Seymour, where she worked until her retirement. Her strong work ethic and commitment were evident throughout her career.

A longtime member of The United Methodist Church in Seymour. Her involvement with the church spanned many years and reflected the values that guided her life.

Beverly found joy in simple pleasures-she loved reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and enjoying board games. These pastimes brought her happiness and often served as cherished moments shared with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmund Arthur Marsette, and her daughter Carrie Marsette Reichardt.

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her children: daughter Debbie Neese and son Ed Marsette; her grandchildren: David Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Joshua Alexander, Derek Marsette, Kyle Marsette, Adam Reichardt, and Samantha Reichardt; and her brother Leonard Robert Marston.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May it bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
