Born in Brooklyn NY, Beverly co-starred with Humphrey Bogart and Errol Flynn at Warner Brothers in the 1930's. Subsequently, she returned to singing and acting on the stage. In the late 1940's and early 1950's she appeared on numerous radio and TV shows. She became administrator of the Theater Authority in New York City in 1954, whose members comprised the five entertainment unions. The organization exercised jurisdiction over the appearance of performers at charity events and telethons. She retired to Laguna Niguel, CA in 1977, where she was living when she died suddenly. She was honored at the Cinecon Film Festival in 2002. Pre-deceased by her long time friend and fellow actress Wynne Gibson, she never married and had no children. Private services have been held.
