Beverly Ann Reed Scott

SCOTT Beverly Ann Reed Scott, age 62, passed away on Friday, June 19, at Touro Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in New Orleans La. on February 6, 1947 to the late Paulanner H. R. Rivers and Emerson Reed. Beverly accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Star of Bethel B. C. by the late Pastor Mason Thompson. She and her family joined St. John No. 5 Faith Church prior to hurricane Katrina. She leaves to cherish her memories 1 daughter, Dana Michelle Reed; 3 granddaughters, Leslie, Albresha, and Myakkiah Reed; 5 devoted sisters, Dennetter Reed, Juanita (Leslie) Pierre, Zakiyyah (Haazim) Abdullah, Paulanner (Gary) Mack, Julia (Mike) Bolden; also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Walter Reed; 1 grandson, Keith Buster Reed; 3 sisters, Dorothy R. Johnson, Lula Marie R. Robinson, and Mary Zeador R. James; 3 brothers, Alonzo Reed, Johnny Reed, and Larry Reed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services at the St. John No. 5 Faith Church, 3613 Hamburg Street, New Orleans, La., on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 11:00 am.
