Mr Bill Alcock of New Whittington has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 75 years.Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, he had been an engineer/fitter at Sheepbridge until early retirement due to ill health.He enjoyed taking holidays in Spain, spending time with family, collecting antiques, watching sports and spending time with friends.Mr Alcock leaves his wife Pat, daughters Amanda and Louisa, grandchildren Becki, Tom, Joe, Lois and Olivia, great grandchild Carter, and his sister Brenda.The funeral service will take place at Brimington Crematorium on 27th February 2015 at 12.10pm.Funeral director: Crowder & Alderson, Whitting Valley Road, Old Whittington Chesterfield (01246 452344)
