Bill had such a keen eye. He could pick up and remember such details. This made his stories so memorable, and must surely have added great color to his life. We'll miss him. Love to you, Eleanor!

Eleanor,
You mentioned at work that Bill was recounting the highlights of his life in a writing. I now understand his intent. I enjoyed Bill's novel approach of a chronicle of his extraordinarily novel life. His obituary reads like a novel. My condolences for his passing. Bill has provided us all with his written words to fill the void.

El-I only met Bill 2 or 3 times (at Potrero County Park) and didn't get to know him. I've worked with you for many years and I know how much Bill means to you. I enjoyed reading his life story and know what a gift that is for you. I certainly enjoyed reading how you two met.

I've known Bill since he was born, but just recently have started to know him better. His father is my Uncle Bill, so we sort of grew up together, but he was in Texas and I was in Ohio. So, we never played together, went to school together, or had dinner together. Bill helped me Big Time last April when I stayed with him and El while I had a major pulmonary operation called a PTE at the Sulpizio Hospital in San Diego. I knew I needed to know much more about my cousin.

What a colorful life Bill lead. I celebrate his full life and mourn his passing, wishing I had gotten to know him better. I am inspired to have witnessed the wonderful loving relationship he had with Eleanor.
My prayers are with Eleanor and his family and friends during this time of loss. He will be very much missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bill. I wanted to send a card, but I'm not sure of your current address and I search my computer for your email address with no luck.
I just heard from my medical group that they have a referral for another biopsy and I assume it will be soon, so I don't think I will make it to the funeral. You take care of your self and think of the good things in life. Hugs, ~Cheri Blessing
