Saddened to hear of the passing of fellow actor Bill Cobbs. At one time, he lived in the apartment below me in LA. I left LA in ´81 and some years later, he made a point of seeing my show at the National Black Theatre Festival. Highly skilled actor, great guy. Blessings on your journey, Bill.

I have always loved watching him in various movies. Great actor, and always seemed to be a low key, down to earth kind of guy. Never saw dirt about him in the tabloids. Hopefully he was a servant of Jesus and is up in heaven right now. Maybe I will get to meet him some day when I get there. Condolences to his friends and family.

I´ve known Bill fora few years. We talked at frequent places in Upland CA. Bill was a very good man who loved his friends and family. He also loved going out with his attendant who drove him where he wanted to go.

I had the opportunity to meet Bill on his visits to the Cleveland Clinic. His Dr. and friend is a close friend of mine so before and after his appointment I would hang out with Bill. Take ride around Cleveland with him was a treat. His history and stories was as much interesting as it was comical. I surely miss them days.
