A great friend and unforgettable character! It was my good luck to be his frat brother for three very memorable years at Tulane University. He will never be forgotten!

A great teacher, brilliant, humble and kind.

It was a privilege to know and be instructed by Professor McAninch. He served as an advisor to the Public Interest Law Society and was an example of practical applications of principle for the betterment of his fellow men and women. He is remembered fondly and with admiration by his students and those he mentored.

I offer my humble condolences to his family and friends on his passing.

Professor McAninch was my criminal law professor in law school in 1970, and on the faculty when I taught there later. He was an excellent professor and a true guide to competence and sensitivity.
