What wonderful memories I have of Dr McCord. I went to work for him at age 18, and worked as his chair side nurse at the dental office for a number of years. He was always kind and generous to his patients. We would make the trip once a month to a Houston Center to treat special needs children that would not have been cared for if not for him. He was also such a funny guy. Yes. His sisters did teach him well for there were countless times that I had to find phone numbers, his keys, etc for him :). There was a time I even had to show him how to raise the hood of his car and check his oil :)). I loved Dr McCord, Shirley, the girls and Bama. Such a precious family. I visited him at Colonial Oaks often while there to see my Mother. Then covid. I will miss his smile and hugs.
