Mom's memorial service and celebration of life was wonderful. Pastor Rob Holocker, mom's grandson, gave such a warm and personal message on behalf of our loving Christian mother. Mom was so very proud of her family, and proud and thankful that Rob has followed the path that she also would have loved to have taken, serving the Lord. Mom did serve the Lord, maybe she wasn't ordained, but she still preached the Word of the Lord almost every day.

This is a picture of my mom and her stepmother Zelma. People often say they look alike, and yes, they do seem to look alike. Mom really liked her stepmother Zelma, but then Mother loved everyone.

Mom..you were loved so much by your whole family. We were so blessed to have a mom that did everything she could to provide for us. You gave encouragement, love, dedication, and shared your faith for the Lord. Your love of hymns and all the enjoyment you had playing the piano and worshiping were such a blessing.
We know you are safe in the "potter's hands".
We are forever grateful.

I was fortunate enough to visit CA last year and participate in Louise's 92nd birthday celebration as well as listen to her playing a few songs. She loved her music and was a good musician.
