Billie Jean Edwards Cason, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence following complications from a stroke.

She was born on February 27, 1956, in Arcadia, Florida, the daughter of the late Billy B. Edwards and Viola Hasty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Michelle Garrison. Prior to retirement, she was a seamstress and was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Dawn Davis and her husband Zachary, Candy Jean Williams and her husband Ryant; two sons, Stanley Timothy Cason and Randall Craig Garrison and his wife Taran; five sisters, Becky (Ron) Brendel, Ida Lee (Duane) Wilson, Brenda (Ron) Bufford, Bonnie (Allen) Moses, and Theresa (Matthew) Crawford; three brothers, Don Edwards, Tommy (Lorie) Edwards and , Michael Hasty; grandchildren, Jaxon Garrison, Austin Jace Garrison, Hadley Garrison, Caleb Norton, Cole Wilbanks, Bella Williams, Wyatt Williams, Cuyler Williams, and Chloe Williams; one great-granddaughter, Addison Garrison.

A service to celebrate Billie Jean’s life will be held Sunday, November 26th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Tim Cason, Zachary Davis, Ryant Williams, Austin Fowler, Tyler Ayer and Jorge Monzon.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25th at the funeral home between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
