Billy Edward Rose, 58, of Kegley, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, December 17, 2020.
Born on August 22, 1962 in Welch, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Ernest and Janice Sims Rose. He was a former cemetery worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Brian Rose and Devon Rose; two brothers, Jimmy Rose and Gary Rose; and father-in-law, Jimmy Mitchem.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Tina Mitchem Rose of Kegley; sons, Billy Rose, II, Ethan Rose and Brent Rose, all of Kegley; daughters, Angel Rose, Kaitlyn Rose, Kristin Rose and Hannah Rose, all of Kegley; brothers, Kenneth Rose and companion, Brenda of Princeton, Randy Rose and wife, Claudia of Princeton, and David Rose of Princeton; sister, Janet Jennings and husband, Sam of Princeton; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Brittany Mitchem of Kegley; mother-in-law, Brenda Mitchem of Kegley; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with Billy's wishes, he will be cremated and no visitation or services due to Covid-19. The Rose family is being served by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.

Baby another day I miss you even more than I had been yesterday was christmas and it was so hard not having you here with me this was the first christmas in 19 years we haven't been together .
It just wasnt christmas to me. I wished 6ou was still here with me . You are my bestest friend ever and I hate having to cremate you without a.service but I hope you know.i didnt have a choice. I keep asking myself why you had to leave me I know if you didnt half to leave me than you never would have . I sleep in your spot andi take care of chucky and patches and I think they miss you just as much as I do . I wished u was here with me well soon you will be I'll have your ashes with me soon and I got me a necklace so I will have some of your ashes around my neck so soon I will be carrying you everywhere . I miss you baby every minute of the day I cry for you often and wish this was all just a bad dream . I really hope you wait for me to join you someday. Love you always
