Mr. Bing Lew

Dear Mrs. Lew, Florence, Frances, and Johnny,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of Bing during our visits when we were younger. Seeing your family was always the highlight of our trips. No matter how long it had been between visits, it’s like we were never apart. Your father always went out of his way to make us feel important and loved. He and my father were great friends and would sit for hours eating, drinking and talking about old times.

I wish there was something I could say or do to help remove the pain. We will miss him dearly. I’m sure our fathers will reunite and talk about the good old days. Probably over a good meal and a refreshing drink. The thought of seeing them together brings a smile to my face.

It will get easier with each passing day. I was late to the service, but did experience Frans words. It meant a lot to hear Fran talk about the simple pleasures of spending prescious moments with your family. Moments like the fishing stories. Thank you for that, it was very thought provoking and meaningful.
