Binh Vu Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 12, 2014.
Born as the youngest in a large family of 9 siblings, Mr. Binh has learned to be strong in order to be heard and respect. With the country fully engulfed in conflict growing up, he decided to join the South army as a teenager and rose to the rank of major. Mr. Binh met and married his first wife in Nha Trang and together they had 5 children (3 boys, 2 girls). After Vietnam felt to the communist North in 1975, Mr. Binh was sent to re-education camp and subsequently escaped by boat to the U.S. in 1980. He lived in Washington State since, acquired a college degree, diligently worked his way to support and brought his family to the States. Unfortunately, years of living continental apart took its toll on his first married so Mr. Binh decided to move on to acquire a new married life in 2002. In recent days, due to advance age and deteriorate lung condition, he passed away peacefully at age 79 with all his family at his bed side.

Mr. Binh's dedication to family and independent, determination spirit will always be remembered and lived on through his children
