Dearest Rigmor, Kristine, Kim, Eric & Ellen.
We are shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Bjorn's passing. We remember the warmth and friendship that we enjoyed with your family when we moved to Eagle Harbour. It was a beautiful neighbourhood to live in and your family was such a huge part of our being made welcomed. We love you all and pray that you may find comfort within the support of all your family and the multitude a friends that have always appreciated Bjorn and his loving family.
With all our love and support in this time of sadness.

Sadness filled our hearts when we learned the dreadful news of Bjorn's passing.
We have so many awesome memories of the many, many years we spent skiing together at Whistler and Balckcomb mountains.
He was a wonderful and gracious man, a true gentleman. One of our many recollections is that he would invariably take the position to be the last skier of the group down the hill just in case someone fell or needed any form of his assistance.
Our heartfelt condolences to Rigmor and the entire family.
He will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace

Bjorn was a good and loyal friend. He will live on in our memories as we reflect on the many good times we were privileged to enjoy together. Unforgettable were many sailing trips with him and Rigmor on the Datum and his skill as a mariner as he navigated the waters of Desolation Sound. We are frequently reminded of those sailing trips from our home here on Quadra Island as we look over to Cortes Island and see the sailboats heading into the sound. We also spent many memorable times skiing and socializing together with Bjorn and Rigmor at Whistler. First and foremost a family man, Bjorn was so proud of his children and took great delight in his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten by his many friends and family. Farewell, old friend.

Have just returned from out of town to hear of Bjorn's passing. My deepest condolences, Rigmor, to you and Kim and Eric and Ellen and Kris. Bjorn seemed to always be out in the garden working when I was walking by, which was why we had so many great conversations. Such a kind man, ever cheerful and such warmth in his voice! I shall miss him - goodness, the neighbourhood will miss him! My heart and thoughts are with you.

Rigmor, Kristine, Kim, Eric & Ellen.
Bjørn was a special friend since we first met in the 1960's. Our families enjoyed get-togethers, we sailed in the waters off West Vancouver and I will be missing Bjørn. Please except our deepest condolences.

My family owes a lot to Bjorn. He met my Mum, Dad and I at the airport when we emigrated to Canada in 1967 and was my Dad's boss for most of his career at Safeway. He was always keen to listen to me as a young boy and interested in my soccer, being a passion we held in common. It was nice as of late to rekindle that with his grandson Atle and my son playing on the same team. He had a grace and class about him that set him apart from many people in this world. My thoughts go out to Rigmor and the family. Rest in peace Mr. Boyum.
