Blanche Boone Obituary
She was born April 3, 1927, in Bristol Tennessee, and made her home in the Bristol area. She was a member of Vance Bible Church. Blanche loved her Lord and Savior and her family dearly. She enjoyed crafts and watching birds.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 53 years, James Ezra Boone; a daughter, Barbara Boone; and father, Ernest Boling.
She is survived by mother, Maude Smith Boling; children, Jerry Boone and wife Ellen, Sandra Myers and husband Paul, Kathy Boone, Richard Boone and wife Irma, Janet Ragle and husband Rick and Eddie Boone; grandchildren, Darrell Boone, Brandon Reeves, Mandy Depew and Emily Myers; great-granddaughter, Emma Reeves; and sister, Mabel Dougherty.
A funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Rowlette and the Rev. Robert Burr officiating. The burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Glenwood Cemetery.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Shirley, Tracy, Karen and Dr. Fred Greear for their care. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
