Blas Eduardo Aguirre

Blas Eduardo Aguirre, of Watsonville, passed away June 16, 2016. He born on October 4, 1980 and raised in Watsonville where he has lived all his life. He graduated from Renaissance High School and later attended Cabrillo College. Blas was always strong and athletic. He was passionate about football and was a standout wherever he played. He played varsity football for Watsonville High and Cabrillo College and played several seasons with the Semi-Pro team, Santa Cruz Gladiators. Blas also was Head Coach for kids as part of the Tri-County Sharks teams. Blas had great people skills and charisma which complimented his career as a salesperson. Friends and closed ones would describe him as thoughtful, easygoing, outgoing, and humorous. Blas never feared trying new things and always approached life courageously. His sense of humor could not be matched which came perfectly with his invigorating laughter. His presence would always light up a room. Blas was a loving father, husband, brother and son. Blas Eduardo Aguirre is survived by his wife, Yasmin and children, Isaac, Giovani and Julian. He will also be closely remembered by his parents, Blas and Teresa and his brother, Daniel. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 9pm at Mehl's Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, June 22nd with the rosary recited at 7pm. Mass will be held Thursday, June 23rd at Valley Catholic Church at 10 am with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery. All are invited. He will be forever in our hearts.
