Bob Cole, a Hall of Fame hockey commentator who was a mainstay on Canadian hockey broadcasts for 50 years, died April 24 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the age of 90.

Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night was a big deal when we were kids growing up in Fort St. John, BC He was a great announcer and had an outstanding career and life as well.
