Jackie ,I am so so sorry for your loss ! I've cleaned for you and bob for some years now and I've gotten to know u both more and more , he's always been very quit mannered but so very kind and polite and so nice to me , when I was ever stuck in the winter he helped me and I always tryed to never interrupt me while cleaning which I never minded , it was alwsys nice to hear him or see what he had to say my heart goes out to you jackie and your family ! I'll miss bob very much when I got to see him Tuesday he still in his sickest days tryed to be so very strong not to bother anyone but I never minded when I lift your home it was like I felt something maybe he was just saying good bye but he was just still so independent and strong never wanting anything or any help from anyone but over the years I've gotten to know him I realized that was just bob a man of few words but a great heart and a loving family man who loved his family very much and such a hard worker I'll miss his little smile and are quick little talks we had as he came in just for a minute because he didn't want to interupt me or bother me . I know he loved you very much !!! And Jackie I'm here for you anything I can do for u or your family please please do not hesitate . He now is a Angel watching over you ! I know your strong faith in God will get you through these hard times even know it does not bring bob back .it can help you until you meet again ! Bob was very loved !

This is how I will always remember Bob and hope that the rest of you will too. Bob was in his element riding in his 1953 Sheriff car. Bob and I met in 1958 at Everett High School and we became instant best of friends. I was his Best Man at his and Jackie's wedding and he was Best Man at mine.
He is not just my friend, he's my brother, so much so that the day after he died I picked up the phone to call him to see how he was doing.
I can't say goodbye, but farewell Buddy, I Love You and will miss you everyday. Dick

I am sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He and I went to school together at Everett and were in the same class, as well as the same track team for a number of years.
He was a soft-spoken nice guy with an astounding knowledge of classic cars, a passion we both also had in common, and sometimes ran into each other at classic car shows and auctions.
I will miss seeing him at class functions, and hearing about his latest projects ..... and just chatting.
Condolences to his wife and family.

Wow! what a shocker. Remembering the days in junior high, the thing I recall most was not that he was a star track and football player, but that he was a likable guy. Although a man among boys physically, he had a warm and friendly way about him. Condolences go out to his family and prayers for his memory.

Jackie and family. I am saddened to hear of your loss. This is a little poem that I received when my Bob died. It brought me comfort.
I can go on.
I can shed tears that you are gone, OR I can smile because you have lived.
I can close my eyes and pray that you'll come back, OR I can open my eyes and see all you've left me.
My heart can be empty because I can't see you OR my heart can be full of the love you've shared.
I can turn my back on tomorrow and live yesterday, OR I can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
I can remember you and only that you're gone OR I can cherish your memory and let it live on.
I can cry and close my mind, be empty and turn my back, OR I can do what you'd want -- smile, open my eyes, love and go on.
God Bless you Jackie.

Jackie and family: Saddened to read of Bobs passing. He taught me so much in the 2 years I worked with him 72-74 at Lansing Lewis heating. Think of him often thru the years and all the time we spent together. He was a very good man and I will continue thinking fond thoughts of him. May you all find peace until you meet again. Sincerely, Wayne Karber

Sincerest condolences to Bob's family. He was always fun to talk with and exuded the qualities [no-nonsense honesty, integrity and get-to-it hard work] that made dealing with him and Abbey a pleasurable experience!
