I just found out about Bob. He was such a great guy always cheerful, loved his cars. I remember when I sold him the Dale Earnhardt Sr. car and he had it trailered, didn't want any miles on it. Carol, I am so very sorry and for the whole family. I know he will be deeply missed. GOD Love you all, Debbie Hubbard ( Linda Barnes Office, )

Nancy and I did not know of Bob's death until today when I played golf with his old friend, Terry Brady. The news saddened us greatly. Friends since early 80's, one could always count on a smile from Bob. He was the head of a delightful family. We will always treasure the years at the Landings while watching our kids grow up. God Bless his family at this most difficult time.

My enduring love for the Lyons Family. You are part of my oldest childhood memories and so many more into recent years. I have forever admired and celebrated the lifelong friendships of the St Mary's Group. You all have taught me what it is to live life to the fullest; lean on your dearest friends in your times of need; laugh until your sides split; and simply, truly and unconditionally love one another for all the nuances each person brings to the table. I'm just the outside observer daughter but I loved Mr Lyons as much as my own uncles. I am so confident he is already enjoying his eternal entrance and wonderful afterlife. Much love and prayers and gratitude for letting me tag along through the years. ❤

Thanks to Bob and his efforts the class, of 59, was able to reunite in a wonderful class reunion . It was his efforts and continued interest in the class that we continued to get together.

I will forever be grateful to Bob Lyons and his family. He hired me summers and school breaks to keep me at MSU! He even allowed me to drive his luxury car to Lansing to deliver a business transaction for his company. Well before FedEx was around! The girls and Carol were very very special friends and neighbors in Westacres. Love you all, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Meghan

Bob was the heart, soul and glue of the Rustics Class of '59. He kept us in touch through the years, especially through his leadership role in our many reunions. We should all be as inclusive as was Bob. Carol and family, my deepest sympathies.

While viewing these very special pictures brought tears, it also reminded us of what a wonderful life Bob had. He lived life to the fullest, and we will miss him so much. The Pipers
