Without the amazing dog-training skills of Bob and his dad, we might never have had so many years of enjoyment watching the adventures of Lassie. I am positive all the dogs who portrayed Lassie met Bob on Rainbow Bridge and are now running and playing together in Heaven.

An extremely talented trainer, his hard work paid off in the all the movies and TV shows that Lassie appeared in. Sincerely sorry for your loss, May God be with you all in your time of loss.

I never met any member of the Weatherwax family but sure remember Lassie! I was a little girl in the 50s and 60s and loved watching Lassie so much. I don't know what child didn't love the Lassie show. I now live in the same town as actor Jon Provost. This family really seemed to know how to train these different dogs to perform in ways that was magical. R.I.P. Bob Weatherwax and thoughts to the family.
