Hey Sammy, got this memorial special made for you in your favorite color RED. What a beautiful job they did!
I refuse to go on a road trip to a mausoleum niche that is 12ft. high and you are in a ground vault without an urn. You´re not there anyway.
God´s in the middle because of what I found at the crash site. God basically laid it in my hands. Couldn´t happened one in a million years. It was God´s way to guide me through complicated grief. I actually felt his presence then.
Sammy, I stopped giving CPR for dead solutions. Hope you can understand that.

Happy Birthday Sammy August 29th 1971
You won a Halloween Contest in 1987 first place. Yes, I have every growing stage of pictures in your life. No one knows you like your mother, I knew everything some things I would have preferred not to know. No one could know you in only about 5 years nope. I have every single wood carvings you made for me to this day. You had so many skills that had talent, wish they could have been utilized in your life. Jesus was a carpenter that´s what your carvings remind me of.
I´ll always wonder why you couldn´t wake up one day and say, " I don´t want to live this way anymore." Breaks my heart, your destiny was in your hands but it never worked out that way. Complicated grief, isn´t easy, no one knows what is behind a pretty picture.

There you go wearing your favorite color red. You were in a wilderness program for 18 months in South Carolina from 1987 to mid 1988. I have several camp pictures. Anywhere in the USA it would cost thousands now.
As a mother, I provided you with all the opportunities for successful life, more than some two parent families. The endless opportunities are not forgotten. A cop friend kept your picture on her bulletin board until she retired.
Sorry, there won´t be any golf games in heaven for God didn´t make heaven with human hands nor is he giving us toys to play with Romans 8:26 NLT, yes I´ve prayed with groanings words I could not express.

Oh, the memories looking at your pictures, some good, some not so good. Happiness never comes from people it comes from loving yourself first. Ha, if you knew I had this photo you would try to give it to someone. A friend of yours just gave me a few other photos you gave to her when you lived at the beach for awhile. The past 5 years you were never the same for you, the difference like night and day. Facebook was never your friend, social media can be like a devil´s den, it´s forever out of your life now.
I can hear you calling me mom, with tears in my eyes.
Love you, "Sammy" mother

Sammy you always loved the color red that never changed. I have so many pictures of you wearing red. I hold the cards to every growing stage of pictures in your life. We all tried to help you, it should have never ended this way. Your x-girlfriend and I are getting together in a few weeks for we are still friends, I know you´d be happy about that.
I don´t have to worry about you anymore, I always read your long text that was so kind last year. You loved me the best you could under all the addictions.

How can a black and white photo look so beautiful? This was your photo shoot for a national magazine. Everything was in the palm of your hands. If only you could look back at your child and see how great it was then. I didn´t give up on you, until there was nothing else I could do...R.I.P. Sammy

I can remember taking this photo like it was yesterday. You took two years to finish 12th grade and was almost 20 yrs old graduating because, kindergarten had to be done over too, whew. Being all that said, you graduated high school. I took you to a college at admission´s but that wasn´t you and you decided, the Navy was the way to go.
I know you loved me, but it was buried so deeply in the addiction.

Your looking all spiffy Sammy, that picture was while you were in the Navy for 3yrs-1month. Not retired just a veteran.
God´s got you now, for he never gave up on you because of mental health.
R.I.P. No more enablers, fictitious combat wars, nor worrying about tomorrow.
You always told me, you wanted to take care of me when I got old. Thank you for the life insurance because of that you don´t need to worry about me anymore.

You posted on FB about loving Big Bird. It´s not a miracle I have a few pictures of you with your Christmas present Big Bird and of course your bike. I´m glad you weren´t old enough to take the bird to the pawn shop or it would have been gone so would have the bike. You always knew how to get the next dollar.

Sammy, do you remember this picture at Ft. A.P. Hill Virginia at National Jamboree. There is so much about your childhood none of your friends knew about or your children. You were involved in so many youth organizations. I have plenty more photos to complement this one. You had the best childhood... these pictures speak for you.

Sammy, do you remember this picture? You went from one sport to the other! Sure kept me busy taking you. I have so, so many pictures to memorialize you. So many of your Facebook friends reached out to me about NO public announcement of a memorial service and I told them, " He wouldn´t want you to be sad." To rejoice because, Sammy is having one but not on this earth.

You were always a handsome boy. I´ll never forget a national magazine wanted you to model men´s clothing after a photo shoot and you were picked. So many years have pasted, so many stories

Oh, the laughter we had when we both were in Eckard Wilderness Youth Alternative Program in Hendersonville SC. We were both teenagers then. Your mom would mail every kid in the camp boxed candy once a month. Your free now R.I.P. Sammy, see you at the Memorial Service in Heaven one day.
