My wife and I saw your interview tonight on tv. Our hearts go out to you and your children over this terrible loss. I am so glad to know that Bobby was a man of faith and you also. It's not easy but you are a testimony of God's ove and care. May God watch over you and supply the needs of your family. I hope that those watching tonight that don't know Jesus find his loving grace as your fammily has. Thank you for sharing, I am sure hearts were touched.

Dear Hornsby Family: I have been praying for you during these difficult days. I did not know Bobby personally but knew his father and mother when they owned our Golden Corral. We have two grandsons who are in law inforcement. One is a DPS officer and the other a County Deputy Sheriff. We want you to know that we were so thankful for his service to our community and will continue to pray for your comfort in the days ahead. Dear Hornsby Family,

I unfortunately did not have the distinct pleasure of knowing Bobby, but my heart aches for you just the same. He was my brother, a member of my extended family, made up of like-minded brothers and sisters who have chosen this life of service. Maybe it's because we see ourselves in Bobby, a man clearly devoted to the job but at the same time the cornerstone of his young family, that makes his untimely death so tragic and personal. A loving husband, a devoted father, an elite operator, a child on God, Bobby will truly be missed. Hornsbys, you have my family's deepest condolences and you are most certainly in our prayers.

Today children will say a final goodbye to their father and a community will send off a hero. I know that on July 14, God welcomed a new saint into heaven. Bobby was an amazing person that left an impression in the hearts of those that he met. His personality & amazing smile would brighten any room.
