Kathy and Girls,
It was a pleasure to be able to share my first years of softball with Randy. It is people like him that leave a lesson tattoed in your mind. He taught me not to ever look nor let anyone look down on me and to keep striving even after i failed and believe it or not that has carried on with me even till today. I "Suck it up" and go on, as Randy would have told us. You and the Girls are always in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You.

I'm so sorry about Randy. I know we haven't seen each other in a while. Our kids grow up and we parents seem to lose contact. He was a great guy. I have found great confort in this saying: ALWAYS BLESSINGS, NEVER LOSSES. Know you we're blessed to share your life with him he really was a good man.

I came to many of their games and he was a great man and so good with the girls. They all had the up most respect for Randy. May God shine on your family in this time of your loss.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Randy when I started bowling in Dalton over 20 years ago. He was a good friend and I will always remember him for being the person that convinced me to start playing golf. I'll mostly remember the conversations we had about how much he loved you and the girls. The passion he showed while coaching or playing a sport was equaled in his passion for his family. May God comfort you in this time and give you the strength to go forward.

I coached against Randy for years and always had a lot of respect for him. He always bragged on his children in every way. Even if they had a bad game he had a reason why. Randy has touched a lot of lives in a positive way, and will be missed.

No one ever cared more for our children or encouraged them more to strive to do their best on and off the court/field like Randy did. He and the family were a bright spot every afternoon we had practice. We would be dragging in from work and had to run right out the door to the field or the gym. No matter how tired you were or how tired HE was, you couldn't help but smile watching him teach them with the gusto only Randy could. Both Randy and his family have given to this community without selfishness for so many years. We were lucky enough to be benefactors of such genorosity. He was unique, passionate about life and sports, a big softy, and we were so very blessed to have gotten to know him. I always remembered what he said the first time he met us in the old Dawnville gym (talking to the girls),He said " I may yell and scream, get red in the face but if you listen to what I am saying and not the way I say it, I will teach you the fundamentals of the game, and then you can just shake your head and walk in that dug out sayin Couch has lost it again." Our love and prays go out to you all. We are there in whatever way we can be for any of you. God Bless!!

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I pray that God will help ease the pain you are all feeling right now, and in the future. Ann and Bruce Mashburn, Monty and Tosha Harmon, my heart aches for you.... May God give you peace in this time of sorrow, and make each day that passes by bring forgotten memories of love shared, and comfort you.....especially the hardest of times like holidays and birthdays. As you try to comprehend this profound loss, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens.
May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. Take Care... Jenniffer Hays & Family
