My name is Kamber Robinson, Bobby often came to our church Faith Heartland in Mason Ohio. I remember sitting on his lap so many time he used to call me motor mouth because he said that's what I sounded like when I cried. I loved Booby so much, my church family is so sorry about the loss of a great man. As mom said we know he is enjoying see all the colors of the rainbow. Which that was my favorite songs. We will miss you, until we meet again. We love you Bobby!

As a teenager Bobby came to our Church to minister. I will never forget the impact his testimony had on my life and I am so glad to know that he is seeing the face of Jesus.

Thank you to the family. I want to thank you for sharing such a dear member of your family with those individuals in the school system, such as myself. Bobby was such an inspiration to me when I was young and through my young adult life.
My family knew of Bobby Peoples as one who had provided a positive influence in my life, so much so that my mother was the one who provided the news of his passing. I would have to say that he was such a man that provided God's love that I gave my life to Jesus soon after we had developed a friendship.
So, I want to tell you as a family how much he meant to the children in which he ministered. In some cases the changes he left were for a lifetime.

I remember having Mr. Peoples in our home in London, KY in the 70's when I was just a young boy. He loved my Mom's food and, after dinner, went into the living room, played the piano and sang, "King Jesus". I was stunningly amazed with his talent. Little did I know that he played for presidents, queens and entertainers around the world. Precious memories.....how they linger. Mr. Peoples, thank you for the inspiration you were to this old man when he was just a young boy. I can't wait to meet you again in Heaven someday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in the days and weeks, footsteps and miles ahead.

I too had the blessing of singing with the Hixson Trio and had the honor of being accompanied by Bobby. What a blessing he was to all who new him. He might have been blind, but he could see plenty. I remember the song of colors that he played, only God could have inspired that arrangement. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us.

Renee and Family, Your father was a wonderful man who made a great impression on many younger people including myself. I feel blessed to have been introduced to him and his music at a young age at both Hixson COG and Dividing Ridge COG. May God bless you and bring you comfort during this time.

My friend is seeing the face of Jesus! I remember all the times Bobby would call WFLI when I was on the air. His kind words of encouragement helped me in my life and career. Bobby was "Peoples to People" and I will miss him. But family rest assured that there is a celebration taking place right now and a place set for me and you to join in! God bless you all!

My Dearest Peoples Family,
My heart is so heavy with learning the news of the passing of such a great person. Bobby was such an influence on so many and a blessing that is a rare gift in ones life time. I know that my mother was there to meet him with the choir of Angles in Heaven, Jean Hixson, my mother, and the Hixson Trio were truly blessed to have been able to sing with and be accompanied by such a talent.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn the loss and as Heaven celebrates its newest Angel.

Tresia, Bobby was such precious person and friend to us. During all the miles on the road that we spent together singing, he was our spiritual leader, friend and father is us all. Never a time did he ever complain about anything. He will truly be missed by us, even tho he had retired from the Chapeltones Quartet, he remained a member and will always will be. Our prayers are with you and your family, but knowing that he is an angel now and being able to see all the colors that he sang about during our concerts, I can only imagine how he is rejoicing and talking with the Lord. We love yoy guys. Vance & Barbara Langford and The Chapeltones Quartet

To The Peoples Family: I share in your time of celebration of Bobby's Homegoing. I met Bobby about 30 years ago, when I was a social worker at the Hamilton County Nursing Home. He made a great impression on me and it enhanced my ability to love more (agape). I will never forget his expression of "colors" on the piano. Bobby was so full of love and life. God Bless your family some more. Love, Norma Chapman, a friend.

Dear Peoples Family:
I was so sad to hear of Bobby's passing. He has been so kind and great to Southern Gospel Music artist over the years. When I was with The Landamrks, he played our music. When I went with Hovie Lister and The Statesmen Quartet, he called me several times and we would talk for a long period of time. He wanted our music to play on his program.
He will be missed. God Bless the family and friends of a wonderful man.
