Mr. Bobby Keith West

Bobby Keith West, 80, of Clawson, Michigan, died Saturday, January 6, 2018. Bobby was born September 26, 1937 in Calloway County, Kentucky to Hafford and Anna Florell (Windsor) West. On May 28, 1959 he married his high school sweetheart, Dian Morton in Murray, Kentucky. Bobby was employed by the City of Birmingham DPW for 34 years, starting as a laborer and over the years was promoted to Supervisor. Bobby was a loyal employee and worked very hard to support his wife and family. He was very proud of his family and loved them more than anything. He especially enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved to read, sing, study the Bible, listen to gospel music, make us all laugh, and visit Murray, Kentucky where he was raised. Bobby's survivors include his wife of 58 ½ years Dian, his three children, Cathy Schepper and her husband Tim of Lake Orion, MI, Rick West and his wife Wendy of Lake Orion, MI and Todd West of White Lake, MI; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew, Rebecca, Matthew and Rachel. He is also survived by his brother, John West and his wife Glinda of Henderson, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Teresa Ann. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral hour (11:00 a.m.) at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
