Bobby Whitlock Obituary
He was a co-founder of Derek and the Dominos alongside Eric Clapton, and he played keyboards on the classic album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs."
Whitlock is being remembered for writing or co-writing half of the album's songs, including "Bell Bottom Blues" and "Tell the Truth."

A brilliant songwriter who wrote Tell the Truth for the classic album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. I was fortunate enough to have met him and he was kind and down to earth. I was shocked because he had worked with Clapton! Layla holds down a special place in my generation´s hearts and memories. He will be missed and lovingly remembered.

Layla was a huge part of my youth growing up. I was first kissed by a guy while Layla was playing on the radio. This brings back so many memories, it makes me feel young again. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Thanks Bobby for sharing your music with us. RIP.
