Bonnie R. Cook, 87, formerly of Sycamore, died at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born Nov. 21, 1934, in Tiffin, to Leota Banks. She married Robert F. Cook Sr. on Sept. 30, 1952, and he died June 29, 1977.

Bonnie is survived by two children, Nancy Cook of Sycamore and Robert F. (Kelli) Cook Jr. of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sons-in-law, Steve Yost of Upper Sandusky and Jeff Scott of rural Sycamore.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Connie Yost and Judy Scott; sister, Beatrice Bolens; and a longtime companion, Howard "Duke" Young.

Bonnie started working at the former Ozzies Cleaners in Tiffin and then went to A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky, where she retired after working their for 25 years. After retirement, she did cleaning at Amvets in Tiffin.

Bonnie was a former member of Moose Lodge, Tiffin. For hobbies, she loved to travel, go camping, and loved to go gambling.

Bonnie's funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or No One Fights Alone in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio, 44882.
