Bonnie Marie (MacLean) Kurle Bonnie, of Edgewood, passed away July 9, 2015. Bonnie was born June 1, 1944 in LaJunta, CO to Donald and Dolores (Crosby) MacLean. Bonnie graduated from Puyallup H.S. in 1962. That same year she married David B. Kurle, on August 18th. In her early years Bonnie enjoyed dancing with her husband, listening to Elvis, and family trips to Long Beach. After raising their three sons, Bonnie returned to school, earning her BA in Business Administration/Accounting at PLU, and receiving her CPA at Washington. She was employed as a CPA/Financial Systems Manager for Bogel & Gates and Perkins Coie Law Firms in Seattle. In her spare time she enjoyed playing soccer, appreciating a good glass of wine, attending the theatre, traveling, volunteering her time and talents at All Saints Parish, and supporting her family in their numerous activities. Bonnie retired to care for her husband Dave, who preceded his wife of 48 years, passing away July 17 of 2011. Bonnie is survived by son Sam, his children Rebekah, Rachel and Jakob; son Eric (Erika), their sons Tyler, Ian, and Colby; son Matt (Anne), their daughters Sydney and Katie; Bonnie's siblings Joe MacLean, Barbara Balcaitis, Ruth Melvin, Doug MacLean, Mary Pat Worth, Jeffrey Scott MacLean (deceased), and numerous extended family. A special thanks to all Bonnie's longtime friends, in particular T.J. Johnson-Wing for her support during Bonnie's battle with cancer. Bonnie was an amazing woman with a zest for life; she was a faithful wife and loving mother. A memorial mass, followed by a reception, will be held at All Saints Church in Puyallup on July 17th of 2015 at 1pm

To the entire family--I am so sorry on hearing of the passing of Bonnie. She was a good friend of my sister's from All Saints school and someone that I looked up to. May the good memories comfort you during this time. My prayers are with you.

Joe, Barb, Ruthie and Bonnie's sons and other family members: I am sorry to learn of Bonnie's passing. Though we had lost contact with each other in recent years, she reached out to me via Facebook just after our Puyallup High School reunion. I had planned to see her when I visited my sister Colette who still lives in WA, but due to my own health problems at the time did not make it up there in time. She was a kind and very good friend to me in high school. My maiden name was Witkowski. Again I am sorry for your loss.

I'm missing Bonnie already...it's hard to believe she's gone. We shared so many fun times, from cross country skiing, golf, shopping, theatre, long walks, investment club, etc. I'll always cherish these memories. Bonnie was so dedicated to Dave and her family, giving of herself. It's wonderful to see how they came through for her when she needed them.

How amazing to have had Bonnie in my life. I will always remember working together at PLU, our Christmas shopping trips to Portland, so many fun dinners, going to the theater, girl's night out and will always admire the deep love she had for her family and friends.

Bonnie was my Aunt and I feel like we always had a special connection. She was such a sweet and fun person and she felt more like my friend than a relative! I loved and do love her very much. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences. May you continue to find comfort from family and friends at this time of great sorrow. And may you find comfort in knowing that when God restores Paradise, he will undo all causes of suffering. (Ps. 37:11) Then our tears of sorrow will become tears of great joy.

Our wonderful sister-in-law has gone to join her parents and husband Dave. We will miss her so very much. Cancer may have won this battle, but she is the victor in the end! You got your wings beautiful lady--fly high!

I always admired Bonnie for her great energy and zest for life! Playing soccer with her was a lot of fun and she had the endurance to keep running beyond most of the rest of us. Meeting up and having a glass of wine and hearing about her latest adventure was always a good time. So many people will miss her. She was a special lady. love & peace to her & her family.
