Dexter,
While in North Carolina I read about your mother´s passing. She was one of the loveliest people I´ve ever known. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during your time of bereavement. As I think I´ve told you before your father was my Big Brother at UNC. We had a long-term friendship and of course Bonnie met him, as the article said, when he was a waiter at the Pi Beta Phi house. So, you´ve got great genes and want you to know how much I enjoyed my friendship with both of them. Take care and I wish you luck. I am actually headed to UNC orientation today with my son. Hope everything is going well for you.
Sincerely,
John

Dear Bonnie, I always marveled how our hearts connected on so many levels. Our chats would often lead us on verbal trips to our beloved Tibet and the Far East. We shared our mutual love for beauty, the Northern Neck and hundreds of other topics. I have missed you and those special times. My deep condolences to your loving family. Penne
