Ralph Lauren red. Decorator's eye. The smells of clean laundry (Gain and Downy)...Angel perfume... The way she was so tender with Caroline, and the "hurry up we will be late" banter between her and Jim. These are the simple cliff notes of memories I have of this stylish, intelligent, beautiful mama bear who was not only a fierce protector but a true pillar of the community. Thank you for making Kait the person she is; the world is a better place because of her presence. So much love to and for all of you Hulsys.

I remember how helpful Bonny was to me while I was learning to navigate the world of special needs. I met her at the Kern Regional Center, and throughout the years she was a constant source of kindness, knowledge and encouragement to me. The fact that she was a mom to Caroline increased her credibility even more in my eyes(!). I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories I have of our interactions together. Bonny helped guide me towards becoming a more confident mother and I will always be grateful to her for that. I want to wish your family much love, peace and comfort during this time........

This just came to my attention. What a sweet tribute to Bonny. She was a wonderful sitter with my children when she was a teen. We were neighbors and friends. Many memories . So sorry.

Kaitlin, I give you my condolence to you and your family. I am very sorry for the lost have your mom. I always said I knew how you were feeling and what you're going through, because I lost my mom in 2010 at breast cancer. Thoes who we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day.
