I send my condolences to Borgny's family. I knew her primarily through The Glebe Report and always appreciated her wisdom relating to how the paper could best serve its community.
I often met up with her as she walked on Second Avenue in almost all weathers and will miss her neighbourliness and charm on the street corner.
Borgny and Josef once helped me refine my play for children about Alzheimer's disease by performing a read-through. I won't ever forget how well they worked and spoke together from not only the script but from their hearts.
May her memory as was her life be a blessing.

Joanne- We are thinking of you and your loss. Borgny was always a source of pleasure for us to meet. She had an indomitable spirit and a joy in life. We admired her amazing career and felt a special tie to her as an ex- Saskatchewanian and a former Sheaf person!

R.I.P. Borgny. I'll always remember her sincere encouragement of my early wild and magical artistic endeavours.

Dear Joanne,
sending you lots of love and hugs at this time. Just seems like yesterday that my Mom and your Mom were taking the bus together on Glebe Ave downtown My Mom thoroughly enjoyed their rides together, great conversation, she was such a lovely lady. I will remember your Mom in my thoughts and prayers. xoxo

Borgny was a remarkable woman. I was blessed to have spent time with her when she was in hospice care. Her intelligence, insights and humour will be with me always. Anne Dickason
