I will miss my dear friend Bouke, who taught me everything I needed to know about auto mechanics. We shared many laughs, beers and 'zoute drop'...and giggled when non-duchies had a droppie.

You were a force and will be sorely missed.

It's been quite a few years since I've seen Bob. Upon finding out he passed, I was saddened. Bob and I worked together at Walkley Nissan, and honestly was a mentor to me as I worked through my apprenticeship, many lessons he taught me make me think of him often. We had a relationship outside of work too, many times Sharon and Bob would have me over, it usually involved doing some work with them, but there was something special doing the work. It was the way Bob and Sharon always treated guests. I always felt so appreciated when around Bob and Sharon. We had many deep conversations around a table with many beer's over the years. Upon reflection of my time with Bob, I can truly say with confidence every moment with him was special and appreciated. I want to express my deepest sympathies to Ed and the Haarsma family. I am sure Bob was as special of a person to all of you as he was to me and the impressions he made in my life.
