Boyd David Millsap ABINGDON, Va. Boyd David Millsap, age 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 12, 2009, surrounded by his loving and caring family at his home, after a valiant battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Boyd attended Bethel High School and entered military service in the U.S. Army. He served his tour of duty in Germany and France from August 1945 to May 1947. After returning from service to his country, he attended Washington County Trade School. We knew Boyd through Pat (co-workers) and the love you all felt for one another was evident through her. May you find comfort during this most painful duration of your loss through the love of family and friends.

Dear Diane and Ike,

Sending you and your family our sympathy inh the passing of your Dad. Even though we never met him Pat always shared with us what a fine gentleman he was throughout his life. Diane may you be comforted as you know you did all that you could to usher your Dad into the arms of Jesus. Thank you for taking care of him with love and compassion. Now he is with Jesus and he is at peace. May you and Ike find time for yourselves knowing that you have been good and faithful servants.

Love,

Sally and Jim Barrett
