Bradford Michael Bouquet

It is with profound sadness that the children of Bradford Michael Bouquet announce his passing on August 12, 2025, at the age of 81.

Bradford was a deeply loving father to his six children:

John Bouquet, Jim (Patty) Bouquet, Jennifer Bouquet, Jil (Matt) Lindsey, Paul (Sabrina) Bouquet, and Steve (Audrey) Bouquet. He was also a proud grandfather to Valerie, Tyler, Noah, and Sydney.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 23, 1943, Bradford later moved to Burlington, Iowa, where he grew up and attended school before enlisting in the military. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964, stationed at Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii. He served in Vietnam with the 27th Infantry Regiment (25th Infantry Division), known as the "Wolfhounds," and was awarded the Expeditionary Medal for his service.

Bradford will be lovingly remembered by his children for his ability to fix anything, his love of Elvis, his cherished signature recipes, his infectious laughter and jokes, his love of Granny Smith apples, and most of all, the way his eyes sparkled whenever he was with his children.

Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brad's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization he supported for many years.
