In loving memory of Bradford M. Melvin III. A native San Franciscan, Brad passed away at home on December 2nd, 2021. Beloved father, brother, and uncle, Brad is survived by his daughter (Tiffany Melvin), his brother (Brian Melvin) and nieces (Rosena and Nella Melvin), as well as extended family.
A fixture in the San Francisco music scene for five decades, a gifted athlete, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a lover of all things green, Brad's love for family, friends, and good times endeared him to anyone who met him. Brad's absence will be felt by the many people who loved him, but his spirit and energy remain with us always.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held at the Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco on December 12th, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

Tiffany, Brian & Family,
San Benito will not be the same without Brad walking the dogs. He knew everyone & loved catching up.
We will miss him & his great spirit. I will think of him as I pass the house on my daily walks.

I am saddened to hear about Brad's passing and feel for his brother Brian, as I know they were close and shared a passion for music. Attached is a photo of Brad and Brian in their band playing at a high school party at my SF house in December 1967. Brad as the front man with the red guitar.
