Brad and my brother Jim were good buddies when they were with the 1st Cdn Guards 1956-58. Brad was transferred to our unit the 8th Cdn Hussars 1958. We became good friends while in Germany 1959/62. We had a lot of good times and when not so good times raised its head, Brads laughter and easy going would bring everything back to reality. Jack and Betty Slade

Pat and Family. It saddens all that knew Brad to know he is no longer here to share his wonderful laugh and incredible personality. It was always such a pleasure to met the two of you and you both made a person feel like we were a part of your family. In our lifetime we get to met that one person who left you with gladness in you heart and a smile on your face and each moment we spoke with him that is how we felt. You and your family were blessed with a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. Til we meet again Brad. Friends Derle and Ruth DeLeavey

Dear Pat and family;
Margret and I were very sorry to about Brad. When I phoned you I did not realize how sick Brad was. It was a blessing that he did not suffer for a long period of time and as he said, "Chin up, and face forward." I've known Brad for more than 60 years when we went to school together. At least his suffering is over now and he will be remembered by a lot of fellow Army friends.
