I love reading these memories and stories about Brad. We were sure all lucky to know someone so wonderful all the way around. I met Brad a very, very long time ago! We were little kids running around Aptos, going to school together, creating memories around town and spending countless days on the Beach. Brad was one of my best guy friends! He was always so kind, sweet, and loved to laugh. He would always look out for his friends, make sure we were all okay. Later in life I would run into Brad somewhere around town and we could always catch up on each other lives. I met Debie at the Gym. She and Brad were always fun and engaging. It was so nice to get to know her too and watch their beautiful travels together. When I lost my mom Brad came by our family Estate sale to just hang out and visit with Cheryl, Alan and I. Last year my hubby and I had a garage sale, both Brad and Debie stopped by to chat, say hi, and even grab a few Terra cotta pots! I loved that he was always so generous with his time, and made the time to stop in to say hello. It broke my heart to hear the news that he had stomach cancer, never did I imagine that he would be gone so soon after hearing that news. My deepest regret was not being able to stop by, visit with him during this difficult time, and just let him know what an outstanding human he was to so many. Until we meet again Brad!

Driving down Shoreview Dr to check out a house, seeing a very cool dude hanging a wetsuit out to dry.
I said to my husband JJ, "they will be our friends".

I met Brad & Debie when we were pregnant with our babies - Sierra and our Violet were born just a day apart and were inseparable buddies growing up. I have so many fond memories of just spending the day hanging out at Brad & Debie's home while the kids played. Brad would come home on his lunch break to see his beautiful family and play with the kids. I remember Brad as such a positive, fun-loving, caring friend. He loved his family and was one of the best dad's out there. He leaves a legacy of love and kindness for all of us to continue to share with others.

Brad, my amazing, loving, kind hearted, talented, humble, joyful, fun loving, adventurous uncle. You will forever be a part of who I am. I have always felt so loved and cared about by you. You loved life and adventuring in nature. You loved people and treated everyone with respect. I have always looked up to you and loved all the moments we shared together at family get togethers, hiking, staying at the cabin, watching the 49ers, and all the life milestones that came and went. When I met Roni you and Debbie made her feel so welcome, she immediately felt part of the family. I'll always cherish our hike in Tahoe together, you, Debbie, me and Roni, wading in the little swimming holes that pooled up along the river that ran down the granite slabs. I will always miss you, I love you Brad!

Perfect words for a perfect man :). I did not know of his joy in gardening amongst so many other talents that encompass Brad ...

I met Brad a few years ago. He was biking around on his cruiser, and stopped to look at the ocean. We had such a nice conversation there on the cliffs. I immediately went home and told my husband that I met someone he´d really like. Sure enough, the next time we were walking, we ran into both Brad and Deb. We became quick friends, and enjoyed a few nice dinners together. He will certainly be missed.
Sending love.

Growing up as family friends, it was always fun to see the Macdonald family. Brad was an exceptional person. He had a very sweet and gentle way about him. He was amazingly attentive to his mother. It was heartbreaking to see him suffer such a devastating illness. He handled it gracefully just as he lived his life. His loss is felt by so many, and especially by his family and friends. I am sure he is smiling down on all who loved him. Sending sincere sympathy to all who knew him. Brad will not be forgotten.

Brad and I met in junior high school. Back then he was a pack rat with Steve Hall, Kris Kesterson, and Tony Degracios. There place to hang out and surf was the beach in Aptos or any where there were waves! We had a huge group of girls and guys that always hung out at "Platform" . Brad was one of a kind, he was literally friends with everyone, always the "Sweetest, and best looking " would take his shirt off his back for anyone and loved to hang at the beach with all his buds. Over the years I was fortunate to stay in touch with Brad and meet his loving wife Debi. The two of them was a story to fall in love with! Having 2 beautiful daughters that he would love to talk about and his travels with Debi were so fun to watch! I will miss his laughter, his love for life and his beautiful smile
May you rest in peace my friend Until we meet again! I love you Brad

I think of Bradley every time I´m down at the beaches. Before I learned to surf in 1977, I would watch him with all of his surf buddies ripping their special sandbar.
Bradley I hope you´re getting good waves and enjoying many adventures where you are:)
