I was a young teacher at Forest HIll HIgh School when I first encountered "Mr. Mitchell". What an impact he had on me and the other teachers he took under his wing. He was a dean and counseld us as well as our younger students. He was smart , kind, fair, and most of all so much fun! He made working tolerable and was always a port in a storm. The world is a better place for him being here. He left us with love and laughter. Who could ask for more?

Coach Mitchell was the best. He took my brother and I under his wing when we were very young. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

I will miss you my friend. Thank you for giving me my shot at officiating varsity football. Back in the day when it was a tough road to get to do varsity football.
