Bradley Peterson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 5, 2024.
Bradley Stanford Peterson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, in Arden Hills, Minnesota, at the age of 84. Born on August 22, 1940, in Moose Lake, Minnesota, Bradley's life was marked by creativity, devotion, and a deep faith in Christ.

Brad began his academic journey at Westminster College in Pennsylvania, initially aspiring to follow in his father's footsteps as a minister. However, his true calling emerged in the arts, leading him to pursue a career as a graphic designer. This shift in focus allowed Brad to express his creativity and passion for visual arts, which became a defining aspect of his professional life. Brad's career evolved as he transitioned from graphic design to home design and building.

After completing his education, Brad married Lynne, his devoted partner of 61 years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and companionship, and together they built a life filled with shared dreams and mutual support. Brad and Lynne were blessed with two children, Dawn and Todd, who were the pride and joy of their lives.

In his later years, Brad resided at Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes, where he enjoyed the lakeside surroundings and living in community. His favorite places have always been near water, rocks, and trees, especially along the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Brad is survived by his loving wife, Lynne; his daughter, Dawn Muller; his son, Todd Peterson and his wife Jeannette; and his cherished grandchildren, Zane Muller and his wife Maggie, Quinn Muller, Vivian Peterson, and Vincent Peterson. He also leaves behind a great-grandchild, Astraia Peterson, who brought him immense joy. Brad's sisters, Judith Graham and her husband Daniel, and Mary Beth Murphy and her husband Doug, also survive him, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Carolyn Peterson, and sister, Rebecca Bodkin.

Brad's legacy is one of love, creativity, and faith. His life was a testament to the power of following one's passions and the importance of family and faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

In honoring Brad's life, we celebrate a man who lived with purpose and grace. His journey was one of fulfillment and joy, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire his family and friends.
