Bradley A. Swander, 49, Willshire, Ohio, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Huntington Thursday, Feb. 2, 1967, to Carl and Nila (Vining) Swander. He married Nichole L. Berry Dec. 5, 1992 in Decatur.
Brad was a member of Praise Point Church in Willshire. He loved fishing, golfing and watching IU basketball. Brad loved his dog, Hoosier, and loved to go on vacation and spend time with his family.
He was employed at CAPT in Celina, Ohio, for 10 years and prior to that he worked at the Fort Wayne Foundry for 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Nikki Swander of Willshire; three daughters, Amber, Madison and Grace Swander, all of Willshire; parents, Carl and Nila Swander of Rockford, Ohio; sister, Rochelle (Lowell) Kissinger of Bradford, Ohio; mother- and father-law, Jack and Cindy Berry of Willshire; brother-in-law, Chuck (Michelle) Berry of Van Wert; brother-in-law, Brad (Jodi) Berry of Willshire; and eight nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bradley in death was a brother, Derrick "Chip" Swander; maternal grandparents, James and Sally Vining; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Wilma Swander.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Praise Point in Willshire, with Pastor Brad Kittle and Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in Willshire Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Camp COTUBIC or IU Methodist Critical Care Family Fund.
