Brandon Ivan Araiza

Brandon Araiza was a charming, elegant and engaging young man. I spent a few years working and deploying with him. Beyond his youthful exuberance and signature comedic appeal, a complex and highly textured persona quickly shone through. I can't count how many times I spent 8 hours sitting next to Brandon in a truck. It was never a chore, never boring, always surprisingly productive. He caught on so quickly...such potential. [sobs in Spanish] One of my younger troops, Brandon was a natural leader, capable beyond his years and showed an immediate knack for the ways of the United States Air Force. I'm a better person for having experienced the company of such a unique individual. Brandon will be fondly remembered and missed. May his family and loved ones' woes be lessened by his shining memory.
