Brandon Battelle

Brandon Andrew-Jacques Battelle left this earth suddenly on March 5, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on April 22, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona, Brandon brought a spirit of curiosity and creativity to every chapter of his life.

Brandon was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Joseph Miller; his Grandmother, (Addy) Kesakulnee Kohlmeyer; his aunt Jennifer Lujan; his Sister by marriage, Meaghan Carpenter; his Grandfather by marriage, William Carpenter; and most recently, his Grandmother, Barbara Murphy.

Brandon is survived by his mother and step-father, Christine and Joseph Carpenter; his father, Andrew Battelle; his Grandfather, Leonard Kohlmeyer; his Paternal Grandfather, Frank Jacques Battelle; his Grandmother, Linda Miller; his Grandmother by marriage, Patricia Carpenter; his sister, Michelle Williams; his sister, Cassandra Lynn Battelle; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from a large blended family.

A dedicated student, Brandon graduated as salutatorian from the ASK Academy High School in May 2015. He continued his academic journey at New Mexico Tech, driven by a passion for learning and personal growth. Despite facing health challenges that were later addressed, Brandon persevered and began a new path as an apprentice electrician. He took great pride in mastering his trade and was recently recognized as an A student in his classes. Ever forward-thinking, he had also begun preparing for certifications in less physically demanding fields, with hopes of completing them alongside his apprenticeship.

Brandon's quiet strength, intelligence, and determination left a lasting impression on those around him. Friends, family members, mentors, and peers alike feel the deep loss of his presence and the promise he carried.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at IBEW Local 611, located at 4921 Alexander Blvd NE #A, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107. In tribute to Brandon's memory, rocks bearing messages of love or cherished memories will be placed around a tree planted in his honor-a living symbol of remembrance and inspiration.
